| Luncheons | The luncheons are held in different restaurants throughout the Metropolitan Des Moines area and are open to members as well as prospective members. This very popular activity brings old and new friends together to enjoy a variety of cuisines as well as to hear speakers from all walks of life. | Usually held the 1st Wednesday of the month (no luncheons in January, June and July). Social Hour begins at 11:15 A.M. Reservations must be in the Wednesday before the luncheon. The location is announced in the Newcomers Compass Club newsletter. |
| Coffees | Coffees, another very popular Compass Club event, are held in various public locations as well as in members’ homes. This gathering gives new members another opportunity to learn more about the area and to meet new friends. | The 3rd Wednesday of the month at 10 A.M.
