If you are new in town, the Newcomers Compass Club wants to make your relocation easier! Our organization strives to aid in your move here by introducing you to the community and providing activities and social events to help in that process.
Newcomers Compass Club is also open to established members of the community who, for whatever reason, feel they would like to broaden the scope of their activities and widen their social circle.
Our Mission Statement
The purpose of Newcomers Compass Club is to reach out to new residents to help them integrate into the community. The Club also provides opportunities for established residents to enjoy friendships through various activities and social events.
We’ve been helping neighbors for over 75 years and currently have approximately 300 members. Our members connect with each other at luncheons, coffees, game groups, service projects, sports functions, and special interest groups. We can help guide you through your newest adventure…establishing yourself in the Des Moines area...or, if you are an established resident, simply finding new friends.
